Jakob Wilson and Simon Talbot the hosts of the Saturday night break out hit BINGO BANKO took home the best talent award 2010 at this years Danish TV awards.

In its premier season BINGO BANKO performed as the best Saturday night prime time entertainment on Danish television for five years!

A new season invades Danish TV screens in September.

The international hit TV format “Big in Japan” will air on Denmark’s TV3 this autumn.

The format takes a cast of westerners to Tokyo Japan and throws them into the wacky world of Japanese game shows in a unique, exciting and hilarious reality game show.

Big in Japan has aired for two consecutive seasons on abc under the title “I survived a Japanese game show” and has been produced in five countries so far. In addition the show also won the prestigious Rose D´or for best reality TV show and best overall TV show 2009.

BINGO BANKO received great ratings on TV2 Denmark Saturday Nights prime time in its premier season, and is optioned in 9 countries so far.

This is the third time a Babyfoot format has been nominated for the awards. Babyfoot cleaned up in last year’s festival winning awards for both best entertainment and best overall TV show 2009.

Bingo Banko is co-created by Keld Reinecke & Babyfoot.

The award was presented by Ray Cokes (former MTV star) to Karsten Bartholin (managing director Babyfoot) who was joined on stage by TF1´s Sylvia Tassa Toffola (TF1 director of sponsoring) and David Sidebotham (MD Babyfoot).

The award will mean Babyfoot receive prize money and will help TF1 develop the format in the France region.

The format is “to be announced” as TF1 and Babyfoot both agree that the format is “too good to publish” at present.

In the 21-50-target group BINGO BANKO received a 38% share.
This was amongst the highest share ratings within the target group so far this year for Saturday nights.
In addition the show performed with a positive curve climaxing in the last third of the TV show.

The tv2.dk site became the most visited website in Denmark on Saturday, beating even the top media site in the country! With over 3 million Bingo Banko cards printed from the broadcaster website.

The following week ratings leaped significantly up on the previous week:
21-50 target group = 41% up from 38%
Overall share rating = 38% up from 33%
The show received a massive 4.3 rating out of 5.

The ratings have consistently risen since the premier show, broadcast November 2009.
