BABYFOOT WIN NORDIC WORLD PITCH

Babyfoot has won the Nordic World Pitch which saw 16 independent producers from the Scandinavian region pitch to a jury of international producers, distributors and commissioning editors.

Nordic World, the pan regional programme sales company hosted the formats pitching event in Denmark. The Nordic World company was originally set up by TV2 Norway and TV4 Sweden and also includes Norway’s NRK, Denmark’s TV2, Estonia’s K2 and YLE and MTV3 from Finland.

GERMANY GOES BINGO BANKO!

RTL II has green lit the Danish smash hit Saturday night entertainment format Bingo Banko. The show is scheduled to air on Sunday 8th May in a three-hour extravaganza of wacky, fun, variety entertainment with great prizes up for grabs. German indie TRESOR TV who produce local versions of Top Model, Pop Stars, and Super Nanny will produce.

BINGO BANKO is a live, prime time action entertainment game show that generates Bingo numbers in unique and crazy ways with the help of ordinary people and celebrities.

The first two seasons scored a whopping 39% average share rating on TV2 Denmark’s Saturday night 8pm slot in the coveted 15-48 target group making it the best rated Saturday night show on Danish television for five years!

Bingo Banko has just began a third season on TV2 Denmark.

The format has so far been optioned in 11 territories.

Bingo Banko won “Best Game Show” at the prestigious Rose d´Or TV entertainment awards 2010.

Bingo Banko is co-created by Keld Reinicke (TV2 Denmark) and Babyfoot.
